The Caterpillar CS-563 Vibratory Soil Compactor was introduced in 1989 and was manufactured in America. This machine was equipped with a Caterpillar engine 3116. Grosspower: 145 HP.

Subsequently Caterpillar developed since then the CS-563C, 563D and uptill 2006, the CS-563E was produced, yet the latest model in the CS-563 series.

The Caterpillar CS-563 belongs to the Vibratory Soil Compactor class within Caterpillar Compactor program.

Of the CS-563 series are diecast scale models released in 1:50th scale of the CS-563C by NZG in two versions: an open ROPS and a closed cabin version.
