About Jake's Die Cast Models

Jake’s Die Cast Models located on Vancouver Island BC is the die cast collector haven in Canada. Jake (aka Bob) has a great interest in the hobby of collecting models of all different types, scales of transportation and construction equipment. Jake sells detailed brands like CCM and Diecast Masters and heavy transport models. All his models are available in the store or the website and shipped at reasonable postage rates.

Recently Jake’s Die Cast Models started selling the Metal tracks and Cab Guards for Large Hydrualic Excavators in 1:50th scale made by Industrial Scale Models (ISM).

The man behind ISM, Eric W. Pioszak, well known for his Hand Built and custom Demolition attachments and scale models succeeded in launching a very nice addition to upgrade your Large Hydraulic Excavator scale model.

His Metal tracks for Large Excavators are extremely detailed, Double grouser,13.5mm wide (narrow quarry/demolition pads)metal tracks for large excavators to upgrade older rubber and plastic tracked models.

The inside dimension of the track chain where it rolls on the idler/sprocket is 2.4mm. With modifications to/replacement of the rollers, the track sets will be ideal for 65-90 ton models. Double grouser pads like these are also great for track loaders and logging equipment.

Each set consists of a pair of tracks, 47 links per side, totaling 258.5mm (10.1") long when laid out flat. Sets will come assembled and painted gloss black. Snap together assembly will make it easy to add/remove links to fit your models. Track pad width: 13.5mm. Chain clearance (where it rides on the sprocket 2.6 mm wide by 1.0mm deep)
