Caterpillar D8T Dozer

The Caterpillar D8T Dozer in 1:50th scale was re-released by Diecast Masters in 2016 in their "High Line Series" with #85299.

When Diecast Masters acquired the Caterpillar scale model license rights from Norscot and Tonkin Replicas in 2015, a number of models from both manufacturers were included in Diecast Masters' new "High Line Series" program.

This also happened with the Caterpillar D8T Dozer, already released by Norscot in 2012 under number #55299. In addition to the luxury tin packaging from the Diecast Masters "High Line Series" with information about the 1:1 machine, the Caterpillar D8T Dozer was also modified on a number of points and re released under #85299.  

The most eye-catching change is the black painted top of the engine housing. Of course Bob the operator came to sit in the cab!
