Caterpillar 308C CR Excavator

The Caterpillar 308C CR Excavator in 1:50th scale was released by Diecast Masters in 2016 with #85129 in their "Core Classic Series".

When end 2015 Diecast Masters took over the Caterpillar Licensee from Norscot, who produced the Caterpillar 308C CR Excavator in 2012 under #55129, it was in 2016 directly released within the new Diecast "Core Classics Series".  

In addition to Bob the machinist and the Diecast Masters "Core Classics" cardboard packaging, the bucket was also sprayed black and the type designation "308C CR" was added to the cabin side. Fortunately, the ugly-looking hinge points on the Diecast Masters model were also neatly sprayed in yellow compared to the Norscot scale model.
