The Caterpillar D9G ROC-SAW 850СV Trencher in 1:50th scale was in 2000 released by RR Models in a custom limited edition of only 50 pieces.

Friend, fellow collector and custom scale model builder Gertjan Veld has been the lucky owner of this unique scale model of the Caterpillar D9G ROC-SAW 850СV trencher for many years and of course he made a matching diorama himself. Literally: COOL!

Super cool that I can now share this amazing custom with you. So today I made some time to place this model, from my "MOST WANTED WISHLIST", with the received photos both scale model and the unique diorama on the website.

Caterpillar D9G ROC-SAW 850CV Trencher

The Caterpillar Roc Saw 850СV Trencher uses a base machine the Caterpillar D9G Track-type Tractor and was manufactured in the USA in 1988. 

The machine is equipped  with an elevator and has a working  depth 1.8 m and width 0.7 m. Operating weight 70 tons and Poweredby a Caterpillar Engine with 850 HP.
