Released by Classic Construction Models in 2008 is the Caterpillar 637G Wheel Tractor-Scraper in a limited edition from a total 300 pieces in the “Precise 1:48 scale Brass construction” series. Each model is individually serial-numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

The Caterpillar 637G Wheel Tractor-Scraper was introduced in 2001 and only produced in the USA. Powered by a Caterpillar 3408E and later a C18 ACERT Diesel engine (Tractor) and a Caterpillar 3306 and later a C9 ACERT Diesel engine (Scraper) both good for 490.0 hp and 250.0 hp, an empty operating weight of 114.745 lb and a loading capacity of 75,000 lb or 31.0 yd3.
There were also 637G Push-Pull, Auger and Coal Bowl Wheel Tractor-Scraper versions available.
The 637G was given a AXT serial number prefix. Production of the 637G ended in 2016 when the Caterpillar 637G was replaced by the Caterpillar 637K
