Saturday, March 17th, 2018 the 27st Modelshow Europe was held in the flowerauction "Plantion" nearby the city Ede in the Netherlands.

On this special exhibition one could see all kinds of miniatures and model construction projects in the field of earthmoving, cranes and heavy transport. This Modelshow Europe exhibition is unique by its grand design and the only one in Europe.

Many collectors and builders showed on the Modelshow Europe their (rebuilt and/or radio controlled) models. Also a wide range of rare miniatures and related components for the model where offered for sale.

Ad Gevers staffed with Richard van der Horst, Anton Monshouwer, Huub van Dijke (Bouwmachinesvantoen and Bouwmachinesvannu), Gertjan Veld & Jack Schrijen again shared a joint stand.

Mini Movers together with some members of our "CSVT" group from home and abroad, including photographer Thomas Wilk from TCC Photowork, where during Modelshow Europe present in and around our booth.

Ad Gevers

Ad Gevers is a Dutch custom Caterpillar scalemodel builder. His main focus are Track-Type Tractors and Scrapers.

To celebrate that Ad Gevers has been collecting Caterpillar Track-Type Tractors scale models for 40 years and building 20 years kits under the name cADSttachments he decided to accomplish a unique custom built project.

Of course it should be a Caterpillar: The first what came up was to release the Caterpillar AG-6 (Ad Gevers) but there was an even better candidate. Besides his greatest passion: the Caterpillar D9 Track-Type Tractor, Ad is also fascinated by the unique Caterpillar S-D8lgp Dozer and therefore that only could be his choice!

This ready and painted resin Tack-Type Tractor is equipped with metal tracks and manufactured in 1:50th scale in cooperation with FanKit Models, due to the good experience with the construction of the Delta PL95H pipelayer they have be choosen to produce this limited serie of 50 pieces.

FanKit Models

FanKit Models is developing and producing miniatures at different scales (1/50, 1/35, 1/72) from civilian- and military vehicles and construction equipment. All products are handmade from resin using different accessories, professional airbrush paint, and are as detailed as possible in accordance with the scale used.

The Delta PL95H Hydrostatic Pipelayer is made by Delta Machinery based in Moerdijk, The Netherlands and PoweredByCat by a Caterpillar C13 Acert Tier IIIA engine producing 440hp.

Thanks to the cooperation of Delta Machinery and some of Die-hard collectors, this unique 1:50th scale model of the Delta Machinery PL95H Pipelayer has been realized in perfect collaboration with FanKit Models! A model to be proud of!

Bouwmachinesvannu & Bouwmachinesvantoen

This year, Anton Monshouwer and Huub van Dijke manned the booth section of Bouwmachinesvannu and Bouwmachinesvantoen with all the attention for beautiful large sized photos and the ongoing beamer series of modern Cranes and Earthmoving equipement and many "Golden Oldies" shoot during many Domestic- and Foreign trips.

During the day there was also a solemn moment when the Stichting BouwmachinesvanToen of the former HHCMC (Heavy Haulage and Crane Model Club) received a check of 5000,- euro.

At the same time, the center piece on the table was the introduction of the Caterpillar 830M Wheel Dozer in the company colors of the former Dutch road construction company "Smallegange" from Aerdenhout, the Netherlands, which was custom built at the special request of several members of "Bouwmachines van Toen".
