Modelshow Europe 2020

Saturday, March 21th, 2020 the 29st Modelshow Europe was held in the flowerauction "Plantion" nearby the city Ede in the Netherlands.  

On this special exhibition one could see all kinds of miniatures and model construction projects in the field of earthmoving, cranes and heavy transport. This Modelshow Europe exhibition is unique by its grand design and the only one in Europe.

Many collectors and builders showed on the Modelshow Europe their (rebuilt and/or radio controlled) models. Also a wide range of rare miniatures and related components for the model where offered for sale.

Ad staffed with Anton, Huub (Bouwmachinesvantoen and Bouwmachinesvannu), Gertjan & Jack  completed with Carol shared a joint booth. Unfortunately, I was struck by illness myself. But nevertheless it was still an unforgettable day for me.....

The BouwmachinesvanToen Museum held a Lottery during the Modelshow Europe 2020 with the unique Maats Pipe Bending Machine BM-36-42 and the Liebherr RL 66 Pipelayer in scale 1:50th as main prizes.  Not that I wanted to start a new Lie%^&rr (-)) collection in addition to my Caterpillar scale model collection, but because I also wanted to support the Bouwmuseumvan Toen Museum, I had already bought my ticket online in advance: Number 48!  

…..at the end of the day I was shown via social media that I had actually become the winner of the "poodle prize": The Liebherr L564 Wheel Loader. Brilliant idea and what fun with the execution!!!! You understand that from now on there will be one Liebherr scale model in my showcase forever. #truefriends
