Saturday March 18th, 2023 the 30st Modelshow Europe was held in the flowerauction "Plantion" nearby the city Ede in the Netherlands.
On this special exhibition one could see all kinds of miniatures and model construction projects in the field of earthmoving, cranes and heavy transport. This Modelshow Europe exhibition is unique by its grand design and the only one in Europe.
Many collectors and builders showed on the Modelshow Europe their (rebuilt and/or radio controlled) models. Also a wide range of miniatures and related components for the model which where offered for sale.

MiniMovers showed the latest Caterpillar 1:50th scale models from Diecast Masters in the jointly manned stand: These included the Caterpillar MH3040 Material Handler Caterpillar M318 Wheeled Excavator, Caterpillar D5 LGP VPAT Dozer, from the "Vintage Series" Caterpillar 966A Wheel Loader and Caterpillar D7C Dozer and of course the latest Caterpillar D3 "Next Gen" Dozer and Caterpillar 315 Excavator.
Of course, as always, a bit of secret promotion for Laster & Bagger magazine and attention for the latest custom (3D) project: the Eberhard 20ft work container from MSM - Mountain Scale Manufacturing

Gertjan showed how you can modify and convert your Diecast Masters Caterpillar scale models with 3D printed Work Tools and Attachments like Buckets, Rims, Tires and many more self-made adjustments as Cabins and more to create a super detailed scale model!
This time the spotlight on PO Miniatuurbouw, founded by Paul Ogier, a passionate modeller specialized in 3D design from The Netherlands.
On request, Paul has designed and put together a nice 3D kit that you can use for your own "Golden Oldie" Caterpillar D9G Dozer from Conrad in 1:50th scale.

In September 2023 Stichting BouwmachinesvanToen will organize its second swap meeting in the BouwmachinesvanToen Museum, in Vinkel, The Netherlands.
The intention is to hold a pleasant and small-scale swap meeting on Sunday 24th September 2023 with the focus on (Caterpillar) scale models and documentation (leaflets/brochures/specsheets) about earthmoving, road construction, cranes and related (heavy haulage) transport.

With the release of this custom scale model of an 19fithties Caterpillar D7E 7M Dozer with LaPlant-Choate B75 Blade in 1:50th scale the line up of Caterpillar Golden Oldies grows with a unique Dozer replica.
K+ Mining Models
Of course, Kari Feierabend, the mand behind K+ Mining Models was also present showing a number of his unique custom hand-built scale models including a number of very special Caterpillar earthmoving models such as the Caterpillar 745 with Sleipner DB130 Series lowbow trailer and the prototype of his latest project: The Caterpillar 789C Mining Truck within the Caterpillar Off-Highway Trucks series. #hughinscale
