Saturday 21th September 2024 Stichting BouwmachinesvanToen organized its third swap meeting in the BouwmachinesvanToen Museum, in Vinkel, The Netherlands.   

 Once again a pleasant and small-scale exchange fair, held for the first time on a Saturday with the focus on (Caterpillar) scale models and documentation (leaflets/brochures/specsheets) about earthmoving, road construction, cranes and related (heavy haulage) transport.    

Within our group of Caterpillar collectors are more and more builders who built various custom versions by using a 3D printer for their custom project.

Holland Construction Models (HCM) was founded by Cornelis, a passionate modeller specialized in 3D design from the Netherlands. He designs, prints and builds custom 3D printed Caterpillar models in 1:50 scale for himself. What is immediately striking is the excellent quality and high level of detail of his projects. More than worth a visit and admiring his latest models.
