Diecast Masters has in accordance of the first annoucement of the 2020 line up announcend the next new to release Caterpillar scale model available from Q2-2020 in their 1:50th scale diecast "Core Classics Series":

Still a favorite in any fleet, the 1:1 Caterpillar 365B L Series II Hydraulic Excavator is at home in construction and demolition jobs, as well as mass excavation applications, quarries and mines. Powered by a Caterpillar 3196 engine producing 404 hp this machine

An eye-catching detail of the re-released Caterpillar 365B L Series II Excavator is the upgraded metal track undercarriage. Personally, I think it is a mistake that the correct color scheme and lettering (on behalf of Caterpillar itself!) has been adjusted to a later period and thus does injustice to a piece of history and the time period in which this machine was actually active. Never do it again!

The model is eqquiped with Moveable boom, stick and bucket and has new more realistic ladders, hoses and grab rails.Unfortunately, the construction of the boom as a whole has not improved and there are three very ugly mounting holes on one side. Of course you can camouflage this and place the model with this ugly side not visible in your display setting but still a missed opportunity for me to let this scale model come to its full glory. A PITY!
