Power for this machine comes from the two Caterpillar C27 ACERT™ diesel engines producing 1,530 netto hp, or alternatively, an electric version is available for applications which don’t require as much portability. With a maximum bucket capacity of 22.2 yd3 delivering a payload of 34 tons per pass, the Caterpillar 6030 Hydraulic Shovel is perfectly paired with a number of Caterpillar mining trucks from the Caterpillar 777, 785 or 789 series Off-Highway Trucks to provide optimal pass match pairings, maximizing the volume of material moved throughout the shift.
