This weekend CCM has informed his dealers three new scale models in their 1:48 Die-Cast series will be released:

• Caterpillar 631K Wheel Tractor-Scraper
• Caterpillar 637K Wheel Tractor-Scraper
• Caterpillar 637K Coal Bowl Wheel Tractor-Scraper

Special features on these models include a functioning apron and ejector as well as opening doors which expose the engine and drivetrain in high detail. A closer inspection of the operator’s cab will reveal the all-inclusive instrumentation panel and operator controls specific to these machines. The tires are made from our new material, resulting in a more life-like appearance and feel.

Finishing touches, such as an accurately replicated cushion hitch, hand and guard rails, and multiple ground-level maintenance access points bring these models surprisingly close to their full size counterparts.

These models will be packaged in a collector’s box and include an individually signed and serial-numbered machine specifications brochure to certify authenticity. The size of the production run is set at 800 units for the 637K, 550 units for the 631K, and 500 units for the 637K Coal-Bowl, and is scheduled for Winter 2016.
