This week I received from America this latest addition in my collection made by Classic Construction Models (CCM) and today I was able to take it to the photo set:

• Caterpillar 637G Wheel Tractor-Scraper

Released by Classic Construction Models in 2008 is the Caterpillar 637G Wheel Tractor-Scraper in a limited edition from a total 300 pieces in the “Precise 1:48 scale Brass construction” series.The scale model is packaged in a deluxe gift box. I'm the happy collector with in possession # 165.

All aspects of the Caterpillar 637G are modelled to the usual level of CCM's exacting detail. CCM made a Ultra accurate to original machine hand-crafted, all brass model of the Caterpillar 637G Scraper features push-pull blocks, fore and after, fully detailed twin engines. The functioning ejector, apron and stringer look ready for work.

My first impression: an MASTERPIECE scale model and rare addition in my Caterpillar 637 Wheel Tractor-Scraper series. More than well worth the wait! This is a must have for every Caterpillar collector.
