This weekend CCM has informed his dealers a new scale model in their 1:48 Die-Cast series will be released:

Caterpillar 660 Tractor with Athey PR660 Rear Dump Trailer

In the early 1960s Caterpillar released the Caterpillar 660, a large capacity three-axle scraper. The single engine Caterpillar 660 Scraper shared many parts with both Caterpillar 660 with Athey PR660 Rear Dump Trailer and his big brother twin powered Caterpillar 666 Scraper.

The Caterpillar PR660 Rear Dump is comprised of a Caterpillar 660 Four-Wheel Tractor towing a Athey PR660 Rear Dump Trailer with 60 tons rated payload. Provided with a 450hp Strong, durable Caterpillar D346 engine has 9 forward and 3 reverse gears. Equipped with dual tractor and trailer tires with rock busters, the Caterpillar PR660 is able to easily maneuver through uneven loading conditions.
