Received this weekend from America from a fellow collector (thanks Vladimir K!) and therefore immediately made the time to photograph this unique addition in my collection:

• Caterpillar CT681 Concrete Mixer #85295

Diecast Masters had announced two new Caterpillar CT681 On-Highway Truck scale models in their 1:50th scale Diecast "High Line Series" during their global kick-off at the International Toy Fair aka Spielwarenmesse 2016. But because Caterpillar announced in a worldwide press release on February 26th, 2016 to end the development and production of its Caterpillar Truck program in 1:1, both trucks in 1:50th scale were never produced by Diecast Masters.

What remained were my photos from the Spielwarenmesse and the certainty that a small number of hand samples had been submitted to Caterpillar for approval.......

..........now seven years later I have been sent two of these prototypes and I am therefore very privileged that this has been awarded to me.
