Diecast Masters has announced the first new to release Caterpillar scale models in their 1:50th scale die-cast "High Line Series":

• Caterpillar D6 “Next Gen” Dozer #85553
• Caterpillar D6 XE LGP “Next Gen” Dozer #85554

The new Caterpillar D6 Dozer, also announced as the "Next Generation Design" or short “Next Gen” Caterpillar Dozer is the successor to the "T" Series in 1:1th scale, but because Caterpillar has changed his machine type numbering and stopped adding the successor letter it just will be released as the "D6" Series. The new Caterpillar D6 model has a fully automatic 4-speed power shift transmission while the Caterpillar D6 XE is the world’s first elevated sprocket dozer with an electric drive system.

The Caterpillar D6 “Next Gen” Dozer in 1:1th scale is equipped with a Caterpillar C9.3B ACERT engine delivering 215hp Net Power. The machine has a operating Weight of 50.650lb and a Blade Capacity of 7.6yd3.

Key Features of the Caterpillar D6 Dozer with SU Blade in 1:50th scale are a detailed cab interior, including "Bob" the operator. Authentic Cat Machine Yellow paint and trade dress including brand new Cat "Modern Hex" trade dress. Functional Caterpillar SU Blade with realistic push arm blade movements and rolling metal tracks.
