Saturday, March 19th, 2022 the 29st Modelshow Europe was held in the flowerauction "Plantion" nearby the city Ede in the Netherlands.
On this special exhibition one could see all kinds of miniatures and model construction projects in the field of earthmoving, cranes and heavy transport. This Modelshow Europe exhibition is unique by its grand design and the only one in Europe.
Many collectors and builders showed on the Modelshow Europe their (rebuilt and/or radio controlled) models. Also a wide range of rare miniatures and related components for the model where offered for sale.
Ad Gevers staffed with Anton Monshouwer, Huub van Dijke (Bouwmachinesvantoen and Bouwmachinesvannu), Gertjan Veld & Jack Schrijen completed with Wouter from MiniMovers again shared a joint booth. And of course we did a bit of covert advertising for Laster & Bagger-)

Thanks to the cooperation of Diecast Masters (Thanks Klaas de V.-)) there were again this year some new and even unique prototypes that were announced for 2022 of the Caterpillar "High Line Series" scale models in both scale 1:50 and 1:87 in our booth!
Laster & Bagger
Laster & Bagger is THE full color magazine for collectors of Trucks (Laster) & construction (Bagger) machine models, cranes, Trucks and heavy haulage. The magazine is writen in German. Detailed English translations of the main sections and features for every issue are available on the website and off course also available as App (both iPphone and Andriod) for your tablet, computer or smartphone.
In Laster & Bagger 2021-5 issue, among other interesting articles, special attention for the Caterpillar 352UHD Next Generation Hydraulic Excavator. Without any doubt the number one model in the Diecast Masters new release from 2021. In 1:50th scale replicated by Diecast Masters down to the smallest detail! So rightly in Laster & Bagger both variants are fully in the spotlight!
Ad Gevers
Ad Gevers is a Dutch custom Caterpillar scalemodel builder. His main focus are Track-Type Tractors and Scrapers.
Ad showed us this year, one again, four unique custom projects. Sorry for those who are interested but I have to disappoint you directly that all four of these Caterpillar scale models are one of a kind and not will be available as kit or for sale.
So for now enjoy these pictures of his Caterpillar prototype study High Sprocket dozer, Caterpillar D8H "Hon Maru II" (surf) dozer, Caterpillar D7G US Army dozer with winch and last but not least Caterpillar D7Gsa Agricultural Track-Type Tractor.

In November 2022, Stichting BouwmachinesvanToen will organize its first swap meeting in the BouwmachinesvanToen Museum, in Vinkel, The Netherlands.
The intention is to hold a pleasant and small-scale swap meeting on Sunday 20 November 2022 with the focus on (Catrpillar) scale models and documentation (leaflets/brochures/specsheets) about earthmoving, road construction, cranes and related (heavy haulage) transport. Due to the available space and the fact that as many participants as possible are given the chance, it is likely that tables of 80 x 150 cm will be used.

Dan Models from Roemenia, former known as Miniatur-Models.com, has continued the line-up of a nice series of classic Caterpillar dozers in 1:50 scale with a number of variants of the Caterpillar D6 dozer.
