The French company Solido recently announced that it will release two versions of the M1128 MGS Stryker in their army vehicle and tank series in 1:48 scale in 2021:

• M1128 MGS Stryker – Desert Camo – 2002 #S4800202

The MGS Stryker, manufactured by General Dynamics Land Systems, is an infantry fighting vehicle equipped with a Royal Ordnance L7 105mm anti-tank gun. Designed as a light tank, it is a far more mobile vehicle and adapted to the types of combat of the post-Cold War era. It is used by the US and Canadian armies and made its debut in the Second Iraq War from 2007.Equipped with a Caterpillar C7 turbo diesel engine good for 350hp.

First impression: Basically a fairly straight forward scale model with limited functionality: The M1128 MGS Stryker can drive and has a revolving gun turret, but despite a high plastic content still very sleek and sufficiently detailed produced with a super price versus quality ratio in my opinion from just under 30,- euro. Released in a "Day one Edition" in beautiful packaging and a limited number of only 500 pieces per version.

So this M1128 MGS Stryker in "Desert Camo" version is a very welcome addition to the PoweredbyCat series. I am already looking forward to the next model from France: LAISSEZ-LES VENIR!
