The French company Solido recently announced that it will release two versions of the M1128 MGS Stryker in their army vehicle and tank series in 1:48 scale in 2021:

The M1128 MGS Stryker, manufactured by General Dynamics Land Systems, is an infantry fighting vehicle equipped with a Royal Ordnance L7 105mm anti-tank gun. Designed as a light tank, it is a more mobile vehicle and adapted to the types of combat of the post-Cold War era. It is used by the US and Canadian armies and made its debut in the Second Iraq War from 2007 as seen here by the 2nd Infantry Division of the United States Army. Equipped with a Caterpillar C7 turbo diesel engine good for 350hp.

First impression: Basically a fairly straight forward scale model with limited functionality: The M1128 MGS Stryker can drive and has a revolving gun turret, but despite a high plastic content still very sleek and sufficiently detailed produced with a super price versus quality ratio in my opinion from just under 30,- euro. Released in a "Day one Edition" in beautiful packaging and a limited number of only 500 pieces per version.

So this M1128 MGS Stryker in "Green Camo" version is a very welcome addition to the PoweredbyCat series. I am already looking forward to the next model from France: LAISSEZ-LES VENIR!
