The finest moment for a collector of scale models is in my eyes the moment a model pops up where you hitherto never knew it existed.

In his search for more information and photos of the firm Balderson Ad Gevers came across on Ebay on such a very remarkable find: An aluminum case containing custom-made scale models of the Balderson BRAP-40 "BIG DUDE" and BRAP-48 "DOUBLE DUDE". This Salesman Sample set was used to show perspective customers the various versions of the actual product.

With as a basis models the Caterpillar D9G Track-Type Tractors in 1:50th from Gesha is a custom set built and compiled that could well contribute to presenting the unique Balderson products at a Exhibition, Trade fair, Show or Demonstration.

Unfortunately Ad Gevers could not obtain the set but he was able to capture the following pictures for his archive.
