Within our group of Caterpillar collectors are builders who built various custom versions by using standard scale models as a donor for their custom project.

So did met my friend Gertjan this spring fellow collector Vincenzo at the Model Show EBIANUM 2022 in Switzerland. who, under the name Replimach, has released in a very small edition, a custom Caterpillar 323D LNVA Excavator in 1:50th scale with the Caterpillar 323D Excavator from Norscot as donor base.

Using the existing diecast donor model, Vincenzo uses hand built custom resin, brass and photo etched designed parts to build this unique custom Caterpillar 323D LN "VA" Excavator variant that is finally painted very precisely and added with all the required decals and (safety) markings.
