The "J" in the type number stands for "Johnson". The Johnson Manufacturing Co. delivered the Johnson J919 Elevating Scraper, which used the Caterpillar 619 Series C Tractor as their motor unit. Caterpillar rebranded and launched the Johnson J919 Ladderscraper as their Caterpillar J619 Elevating Scraper in 1964. The Scraper bucket capacity is 18 cubic yards heaped and the Caterpillar D340T, four cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine provides a top speed of 31mph. This knock-out "Golden Oldies" scale model of the Caterpillar J619 Elevating Scraper will be realized in a “Old Highway Yellow” Civil version and the correct Johnson and Caterpillar markings in very limited numbers.
