I'm always looking for new PoweredbyCat scale models to add to my collection. The Oshkosh HEMTT variants have also been on my wish list for a number of years because these trucks are powered 1:1 by a Caterpillar C15 ACERT Diesel engine.

The MMRS utilizes a 3-section boom that extends to 41-feet (12.5 m) with operating angles ranging from 3 to 60 degrees. The boom can lift up to 77,499 pounds at a 19.7-foot radius from the vehicle, moving casualty vehicles with ease. Integrating the levels of survivability required on the modern battlefield, the MMRS shields operators with enhanced undercab protection while allowing vehicles to be lifted and positioned from within the safety of the cab. With breakthroughs in maneuverability, survivability and overall performance, the MMRS optimizes vehicle retrieval and personnel protection for today’s demanding recovery missions.

I recently discovered a number of different Oshkosh HEMTT variants in scale 1:144; 1:87 and 1:72th on eBay at 3D Hobby Master (seller dunax_5087) from China. They are printed as 3D Kits under the name ZEUS MODEL. When I asked the seller whether these 3D kits could also be printed in scale 1:48th, the answer was positive! Interested?
