Caterpillar D6R LGP Dozer "Snijder"

The model of the Caterpillar D6R LGP Dozer "Snijder" in scale 1:50th was custom built in 2015.

Ad got the inspiration when he saw the photo of this special dozer from the Snijder company on the website of Bouwmachinesvannu. Their Caterpillar D6R LGP Dozer has been raised for work on the wet dump on the beach. Only one machine in this version has been built.

For his custom project, Ad Gevers used parts from Conrad's Caterpillar D6H Dozer and Tonkin Replicas' D6R XL Dozer. With a limited number of photos of the 1:1 machine and the original Caterpillar D6R Dozer spec sheet as reference, a one of a kind scale model was created.

It is our goal for the coming period in the "Making-of Caterpillar D6R LGP Dozer Snijder" to show how this custom model will be achieved.
