Caterpillar D6H Dozer W6F Winch

The Caterpillar D6H Dozer with Hyster W6F Winch in 1:50th scale was released by Classic Construction Models in 1993.

This die-cast scale model Caterpillar D6H Dozer was originally produced by Conrad in Germany under #2851 and by Classic Construction Models (CCM) in 1993 provide with a Hyster W6F Winch in a limited edition of maximum 350 pieces in 1:50th scale. However, according to a reliable source (Ad G.), the stated number was never actually realized. So it is quite a rare item. Probably the only "model" in 1:50th scale that CCM ever released!

My first impression: A sleek and sober scale model; Functional dozer blade and rubber tracks, so suitable for the quality in that time period. The Hyster W6F winch can also be operateda. So together with the story behind this scale model a very nice addition in my Caterpillar Track-Type tractor D6H series. Together with his four brothers this is a must have for every Caterpillar collector.

After my Facebook appeal (Thanks Jeff D.!) I also got hold of the original "ClassicUPDATE" newsletter from November 1993 announcing this unique scale model.

Now only the version of the Caterpillar D6H Track-Type Tractor with ROPS cabin and Hyster W6F Winch remains to be found... Who helps?
