The Caterpillar D9G in 1:50th scale was in 2016 released by RR Models.

The scale model Caterpillar D9G "Jac. Rijk" Track-Type Tractor is released in a very limited numbers on special request from some Die Hard collector fans from the Dutch earthmoving company Jac. Rijk and custom made by Roger Renault, better known as RR Models from France.

For the observant viewer: The correct Caterpillar type designations and Jac. Rijk lettering still be redelivered by RR Models and need to be applied later.

Normally I do not collect company livery versions but because of my connection with this Dutch Earthmoving company this special version was, even the price tag, a must have D9 and to put beside the Caterpillar 657 Wheel-Tractor Scraper in my collection.
